Refund & Cancellation Policy

We price projects individually, so refunds are handled against the scope agreed in your written proposal rather than a fixed package. Here is exactly how it works.

Last updated: 1 January 2026

1. Before you pay anything

Discussion, requirement gathering and a written proposal are free. You only pay once you have seen and accepted a proposal that sets out scope, deliverables, timeline, fees and revision terms.

2. Cancellation before work begins

If you cancel after accepting a proposal but before any work has started, we refund the advance in full, minus any payment gateway or bank charges that cannot be recovered. Tell us in writing by email or WhatsApp.

3. Cancellation after work has started

Once work begins, the time, skill and cost already committed cannot be returned. In this case we calculate what has actually been delivered against the agreed scope:

  • Work not yet started is refunded on a pro-rata basis against the fees paid.
  • Work already completed — including research, strategy, design concepts, development time, content or campaign setup — is chargeable.
  • Deliverables for completed stages are handed over to you once outstanding amounts are settled.

The exact calculation is shared with you in writing so you can see how the figure was reached. There are no hidden deductions.

4. What is not refundable

  • Third-party costs already incurred on your behalf — advertising spend, domain registration, hosting, paid tools, stock assets, fonts, plugins, photography, print and courier charges.
  • Advertising budgets — these are paid by you directly to the platform and never pass through us.
  • Completed and approved stages that you later change your mind about.
  • Delays caused by missing inputs — if content, access or approvals are not provided, time already blocked remains chargeable.

5. Ongoing retainers

For recurring engagements, the notice period is stated in your agreement. Retainer fees for a period that has already begun are not refunded, since the work is scheduled and staffed in advance. After the notice period ends, no further amounts are charged.

6. If we are at fault

If we fail to deliver an agreed deliverable and cannot put it right within a reasonable time, we will refund the fees attributable to the undelivered work. We would rather correct a mistake honestly than argue about it.

7. Results are not grounds for a refund

Our fees are for the work, skill and deliverables described in the proposal — not for a specific business result. We do not guarantee sales, leads, revenue, return on ad spend or search rankings, so a change in results is not by itself grounds for a refund. See our Disclaimer.

8. How to request a refund

  1. Write to us by email or WhatsApp with your name, business and project reference.
  2. Tell us clearly what you are cancelling and why.
  3. We acknowledge your request and reply with the calculation.
  4. Once agreed, refunds are processed to the original payment method.
  5. Timelines for the amount to reflect in your account depend on your bank or payment provider.
Before publication: no specific refund window, cancellation fee percentage or payment-gateway name has been invented, because those depend on the payment method and the terms in each proposal. State the exact advance percentage and notice period in your proposal template, and have this policy reviewed by a qualified professional.
